If the Cold War kept the peace for half a century isn’t NATO a failure to get itself to the verge of direct armed conflict with Russia? Isn’t a war with Russia something we should prepare NOT to fight? Where are your interviewees who believe a different relationship with Russia is possible? NATO expansion? Madness? Each new member makes NATO weaker, extending commitment, risk and costs. Government mouthpiece? Is it your job to give the opportunity only to the government and like thinkers to promote its point of view?
